ok here is the thing..I have never had any problems with my transmission fluid leaking until I went to work..It sat for about 4 hours then I drove it to D and D..I heard a funny clunking noise...almost like a ping...I drove it back to work and it sat there for a few more hours until I was done.....I go to get into my car and it looked like some one dumped a quart of transmission fluid under my car....I drove it home and sounded fine until I pulled into the drive then it started to ping again(KNowing it was probably out of trans. fluid) I checked under the car and it was leaking from the passenger side towards the middle...It has never done that to me before..What do you think is the matter with it??

Hi:
Either you blew out an axle seal, or the differential (spider gears) has come apart. Can you be more specific on the location of the leak?

It sounds like either an axle seal let loose or something in the differential. Is it possible to have the car put on a rack and lifted. Either leak will be easy to identify from under the car. I hate to ask you that, but it's the only way I can be sure. Also, it noise could be coming from a CV joint.

Let me know what you find or if you can safely lift the car at home and check. Either way I'll help direct you.
