in order to give the best possible idea of what my problem is I will have to go into greater details. to start off my car has been having a problem for awhile where the radiator fans are running all the time, and on occacsion I have been driving down the road and randomly my gauges will quit working and cause the transmission to jump to second gear (limp mode) and then it will go back to normal. then yesterday I was leaving work and when I started the fans did not turn on like they usually do and all the gauges dropped to zero and the air bag light came on and stayed on, and my windshield wipers started moving.of couse when i tried to drive the car it moved very slowly because the transmission was sent to limp mode. I have been told by several different mechanics that it could be 1 of 3 possible causes. the first being the body control module, the next thing would be the fan control module, and the last thing would be the PCM. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds more like a BCM problem. It is responsible for the things you described. Your mechanic should be able to check it prior to replacement. As far as the fan control module, it wouldn't have this effect. And yes, it could be the PCM, but I would start at the BCM (cheaper).

Let me know what you find.
