I was driving my Intrepid to work when it sounded and felt like my driver's side front tire blew. I pulled off and found no damage. On the way home in the same area it felt like metal was loose and tumbling around. It steadily got worse so much so white smoke and the smell of hot metal rose up. As I was turning down my street the ABS light came on and maybe the brake light? Then the front brakes failed and the brake pedal hit the floor. On that area the wheel is coated in brake dust. Also, I changed the pads which were rusted through and had no material on them. The rotor on that wheel is also thinner than the other side. After changing the pads I still have no front brakes or emergency brake. The brake pedal still hits the floor.
