I just bought this car from a man who seems to have really kept up with the maintenance....
After driving about 200 miles....I noticed a "pin hole" leak in a radiator hose and replaced it... When I replaced the hose, I lost a bit of fluid, which wasn't reallly green...more brownish... so i already know that I need to do a flush in the next couple of weeks...
I overfilled the radiator with too much water - which I WASN'T surprised to see coming out the overflow hose......with that said, today after driving about 20 miles I noticed the sound of boiling water in the overflow bottle and some water was coming out of the overflow hose...but the temperature gauge reads normal....
Do you think it needs new radiator fluid?
Does the sound of boiling water suggest a water pump replacement will be needed?
what should I do?
