A 1995 dodge intrepid of mine. 3.3liter. After running a few miles (30 to 40 miles) the oil light begins to flicker. I replaced the oil sending unit, went to a 20w50 oil base. The light only comes on at idle (stop light or stop sign). The meter reads 170,000 miles.
Should I replace oil pump or main and rod bearings. I'm on a buget and would like to do this job once without having to go back into the engine. [/b]
