The transmission started making a humming moise a fee week ago. I have owned the car since new. The transmission was services by the dealer 3 years ago. Is the problem serious and costly to fix.

The humming could be coming from a few different things. Does it make the noise all of the time? Also, is the trans fluid clean and full?
