The ignition switch is locked. The key will not turn at all. This is after replacing the starter(which wasn't the problem) and then a new battery (was the problem) Also note, before new battery during an attempt to jump start it that would not charge, I had to put it in neutral and manually push the vehicle into the garage. The gear shifter and ignition switch worked then, but after installing the new battery...NOTHING. Can you please help?
I do know of the recall involving the transmission lever and linkage;column shift. Could that be it?
