I went to put up my drivers side power window when I heard a "pop"/"snap" sound. The window stopped moving but I could hear the motor. The glass moves freely now. I removed inner panel and linkage/controls. I used a small mirror and watched the parts move. The "lower" cable moved and yet the "upper" cable doesn't. I don't know exactly how the whole things works. Yet I know this seems simple that I can fix. Now my question is can I fix or is there parts I have to replace?

It looks like no one ever responded to your question. Were you able to fix this problem? I'm currently having the same exact issue. I can hear the motor running, but the cable will only move so far. I can push the window track up or bring it down manually, but now I have to wedge a piece of wood in there to hold it up.

Anyhow, let me know if you figured out how to fix this. I'm thinking about pulling the motor out today to see if it's jammed up.
