I am having trouble finding what I have been told is a radiator filler neck. It is a simple assembly that looks like at T and the radiator pressure cap fits on the top. It connects the upper and lower radiator hose. Can you possibly give me a part number or some technical name for the part so the dealership can help me figure out what I need.

Your nomenclature is right. However, the part that your looking for is a part of the upper radiator hose only. Your probably going to have to buy the upper radiator hose to get what you're looking for.

i would have to disagree with the experts. The upper hose does not contain what you need. You are RIGHT... you need the radiator filler neck. Try calling another dealership. I have an 02 dakota and it is 72.28 for the same part from the dealer. The reason the upper hose won't work is because the radiator filler neck comes as a complete assembly. It has the filler neck and the hoses attached- the entire thing is spring loaded. The dealer that I got the part through is in Las Vegas. Their number is 702-313-4413. You could call them to get a part number because they knew exactly what the radiator filler neck was and then use the part number at your local dealership

The part no. is 902-305 at advance auto and 6002747 at O'riley. Unfortunately the problem with this replacement part is that it will likely not hold when under pressure. You’re best bet is to buy the entire upper hose assembly from a Chrysler dealership. You can get it for $50 +/-. The assembly comes with the filler valve, cap, hose from motor to cap and hose from cap to radiator. Replacing the entire assembly costs less then buying the parts separately and you don’t have to worry about it failing when the pressure builds up.
I know this from experience. Save your money and buy the assembly from a dealership!
