1998 Dodge Durango parking lights

Have no parking lights or dash lights when headlights are turned on. Replaced headlight and dimmer switches multiple times, once even tested the new headlight switch on another Durango to be sure. Of course, it works on the other Durango, but same issue still exists when installed on mine.
Can manipulate headlight switch to cause parking lights to come on by pulling switch out between off and 1st position (parking light position). They will stay on until the high beam lever is pulled back and held. Once this is done, both high beams and parking lights will stay on for a short time then trip. Once releasing high beam lever, the parking lights reset and come back on.
Have checked all grounds in dash.

With or without DRL's? the wiring is slightly differnet and I want to be sure Im looking at the right diagram, this is an odd one

does not have DRL . Yes i know very odd . There has also been a couple of times when the secerity would not turn on with the key chain pad is there sothing that controles all this or is all done by the pcm ? Also had trailer brake on it i took it all out to make sure it wasnt in the wiring for that is is all gone and same prob .

There are a ton of fuses in this circuit, did you check them all with a meter or test light? In the
underhood panel- fuse 2,6 and fuse c,f,g
under dash- fuse 14,5,6,13,11,17, A,B
sounds like it is back feeding power when the high beams are on. Did you remove the trailer towing relay as well? test for power at the light switch- tan and the pink/red wires.The headlight switch sends out a "display dim" signal when on, so test for power at the blk/yellow wire when switch is on. The "Central TImer Module" also controls the headlight relay coil, so this may be the problem as it is also part of the anti-theft system.My wiring diagram doesnmt show a headlight relay, but it does in the anti-theft diagram, so look and see if you have one and try swapping it with the a/c relay to see if it does anything
