1994 Dodge Daytona Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I stop my oil pressure drops & the check engine light stays on till I start to to take off again & then it returns to normal & the light goes off.

Chances are it is a bad oil sending unit. You can just replace it or get an oil pressure gauge from a parts store and use it to make sure at an idle it isn't too low.
