2001 Dodge Dakota 120,000 Miles 5.9L: When I start the truck and the engine is cold it sometimes won't stay at a constant idle. It will vary between 300 and 700 RPM. Other times the truck will not even start unless I have my foot on the gas pedal applying enough gas to keep it at idle. Every time I start it it also smells like gas inside and outside the truck. When the truck warms up it starts and runs fine. A check engine light came on once for two days and when I had it checked out it was code 304: misfire on cylinder 4. My step-dad's truck had similar problems and an oxygen sensor fixed it...any ideas?
