The shock bushing is part of the shock. Didn't you get a new one with the new shock or am I missunderstanding what you are refering to.

the shock bushing is not part of the shock on my truck. it is part of the control arm. the shock has 2 arms at the bottom that go around the bushing and a bolt slides through.
