My 05 dodge dakota heat/AC fan just stopped working. The fan was working fine with the AC, I stopped to put gas in the truck and when I got back in the fan no longer worked. There was no noise as if the fan had burnt out. All the fuses under the hood and dash seem to be OK. What could be the problem?

The blower works on high only. Is something loose or do I have to replace the whole switch? How do I replace it? Take the dash out or........?

it sounds like the speed control resistor is out here is the location so you can check it out. It is right next to the blower motor. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

My blower for the climate control has quit working. I took out the blower motor and tested it with the battery and it works so the problem must be somewhere else. I also checked the fuses and they are ok. Where should I look next and how do I test it?

Most common problem is the blower motor resister. That is where I would check next.
