if certain it is water and not coolant than either door seals are bad or more likely the drain is clogged, it should be a drain tube coming out of the evaporator casing and going underneath vehicle. evaporator is behind passenger dash which is why the water will build up and poor out there if drain is clogged

It is water and doors are ok. Can you possible give the exact location of the drain for the air conditioner. We were not provided a manual when we purchased the truck - 2004 Dodge Dakota 4.7litre Have dried it out a couple times and had on hoist 2x but could not locater the drain tube.

there is actually a TSB (techincal service bulletin) over this issue. that means it's a very common problem with the particular vehicle and that there is a permanent fix for it provided by the dealer. TSBs are normally NOT free or covered on warranty though so check your local dealer about that. The evaporator drain hose runs through the fire wall behind the passenger dash. The dealer will seal the opening for the evaporator hose with RTV sealer as the fix.
