2004 Dodge Dakota Engine Code P0700

My "check engine" light came on and I had the OBD code reader to check what the problem was. It gave me the code above and stated the this is a transmission control system malfunction. Will you please explain to me what this is and what needs to be done to repair this problem?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer me.

mostlikely the transmissions computer, has burnt out or malfunctioned for what ever reason, and will need to be replaced, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I would try to clear it and see if it comes back ,before I have a new one installed
