When I accelerate there is a clicking noise. I can't tell if it's the transfer case or the universal joints. The noise is coming from the front drive shaft area. Does the transfer case need lubrication or could it be the universal joint needs lubrication. We bought this used and don't know if the transfer case has been or should be serviced.

I would check the u-joints and the front axles too. If the u-joints are stock they will not be able to be greased you will need to change them if this is the problem. Just check them for being loose. To answer the question on the t-case it is lubed with the fluid that is in it.
