dodge dakota 2001 4x4 mileage 48,000 miles has rough starting, runs at high rpms and wont go faster then 65mph.

sounds like tranny trouble to me my 1500 did the same thing had to rebuild no ploblems since. It had only 30,000 mls on it still brand new.
