There are two locations, Look on the left end of instrument panel, you may have to open the door. See the diagrams below for location

When I use either turn signal, it comes on and works properly, but after a few seconds, it shuts off completely--Dashboard signal, clicking, and outside turn lights. After a few more seconds, it works properly again without my intervening. Both signals do the same thing. However, it seems that if I turn the hazards on, they work correctly and stay on. All the turn signal lights are functioning- no bulbs are out. What could be causing this?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

This sounds like the indicator flasher module has failed,
Although the hazard use the same lights, there is a separate flasher module in use.

When you activate the turn signal, it will blink once or several times and then stop. I replaced the actual fuse, but could not find any signal module. I had replaced the Turn signal switch once right after i purchased the truck, back about 140,000 ago. Could the switch be going bad again, or is there something else i should be looking at first.

Hi:
I would try replacing the signal flasher before the switch.
