Symptoms:
A/C works fine for about 20 – 25 minutes. Then the cold air quits (I assume the compressor Disengages) for anywhere from 15 – 30 minutes. It may then turn on again for 5 – 10 minutes and continues that cycle indefinitely. The A/C only quits when the outside ambient temperature is at or above approximately 85ⰠF.
Known attempts at repair:
I have changed the high pressure cut-off switch, the low pressure cut-off switch and the relay switch (in what looks like a fuse box under the hood) twice. I have also recently had the A/C systems recharged. I am running out of mechanics that can’t solve the problem and am not anxious to pay a fortune to the auto manufacturer repair center… any advice?
