I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF A 1999 DODGE DAKOTA TORQUE CONVERTER HAS A DRAIN PLUG. THANK YOU, MIKE

They don't have a drain. If you want to get all of the fluid out, you need the have the system flushed. There is a machine that attaches to the trans cooling lines. THe engine is started, and the machine collects the ould fluid while it replaces it with new.

In the old days, mechanics would actually drill a hole in the converter, drain it, tap the hole, and put a plug in it. I don't think I would recommend that on today's cars.
