1997 Dodge Dakota Fan Quit Working For Heater

I have checked and replaced any and all fuses. The fan motor has been replaced as well. What are any other things I should be checking. Should also mention that the A/C hasn't worked for about 5 years. Can live without that but not the heat.

Most likely the resister

unplug the blower motor
place the heater switch at high
check for power and ground at the plug wire
what is missing
if no ground check and replace blower motor speed resister
very common
if no power
check fuses and ignition switch
I suspect the resister
