1995 Dodge Dakota Blowing brake light and blinker fuses

I would recommend starting at the light sockets. Make sure they are not shorting.

have checked the sockets and changed the suspect socket out with another and still blow the #7 brake light fuse then if i hit the blinker then the #11 blinker fuse pops i am going to ckeck the turn signal switch and have checked front to back for bad wires.

Try this. Remove one bulb at a time to see if the fuse still blows.

Finnaly just brought it into a shop and they could not find the problem although the mechanic got the fuses to blow for him. We discussed a little and decided to put in fuses that reset themselves which I am not a fan of, would rather just find the problem. But hopefully what ever it is goes out for good and produces a dead short. I have put in new bulbs and still blown fuses. When this whole problem began one rear tail-light was burnt out.

The breaker fuse I don't like either. I have a feeling you have a bad socket.

Check your towing connector. Make sure the wires are not shorted or oil f they are capped make sure the caps are on correctly. That problem will blow the fuse when you hit the brakes. Simple fix if its that
