Smelled burning wire on the way out of town. Later noticed that my tach needle not moving. Later checked fuses. All good. What could it be? How to I fix tach? Could burning smell have been that tach shorted out? Any immediate danger if I don't repair tach?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi there,

I would want to know why the tach shorted out, and make sure that there is no other wire affected, this just may be an isolated problem, but electrical fires in cars can do a lot of damage, i would be getting this checked asap.
