1992 Dodge Dakota Why do i have engine code 37?

Transmission problem
1992 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 168xxx miles

The torque converter locked up so i replaced it. I also replaced the solenoid on the valve body. Why am i getting code 37? How can i fix this?

Could be a bad wiring or the torque converter lock-up relay -inspect and test if okay have the transmission control module tested if separately from PCM/SBEC

i replaced torque converter lock-up relay. i just took off the pigtail to the torque converter lock up relay/splenoid and cleaned it. i will see what it does. i will post what happens. thanks.

i cleaned the pigtail. and it drives fine now. it doesn't slip but i still have the engine codes why?

You probably need a DRB2 to clear the code.

Could be a problem with the SBEC not providing the ground circuit to the TCC solenoid or a wiring problem to the TCC solenoid
