Hi:
Have you checked for codes? You can do it at home.
Turn the key from of to run position 3 times. (DON"T START THE ENGINE) the 3rd time, leave it in the run position. The check engine light will begin to flash. Count the flashes. Each code is a 2 digit number. Count the flashes there will be a slight pause then it will start again.
Let me know what you find.

Ok, 35 is for a 4 cylender cooling fan circuit problem, 55 completion of fault code display on Check Engine Lamp. (end of codes) 355 doesn't exist. So it doesn't seem to be an electrical or sensor problem. Lets move to the fuel pump.
Next I need you to check the fuel pump pressure. Many parts stores will rent or lend the gauge. If you have never done this, check out this "how to" video.
Ya, I realize that. That is why I moved on to the fuel. There is a chance that the pump isn't keeping up with the engine. Try checking the pressure and let me know what you find.
