I may have two issues. we can be driving along, at any speed or idle, any ambieant temp., time of day ect. and the truck will just die, not a sputter die, a flat out complete power loss. Now, sometimes (driving along) you just press on the accellerator and Bam, she picks right up. If at a light, it will sometimes start after several ign. key cycles, as many as ten. sometimes with accellerator movement, sometimes not. Here is why I think I have two issues. Once when it died, I went to check spark. I removeda plug wire at the plug, inserted screw driver and held it close to ground and had wife turn it over and Bam, start right up again. I do this if she wont start after about 7 start attempts. Once it dies, i can go out and pull the coil wire to dist. at the dist. and hold it just far enough away for a small (.35) gap and she will fire up, everytime with this proceedure. My local shop could not pick up any codes, none. Fuel pressue is great as well. I have replaced plugs, wires cap rotor and pick up coil. Gentlman, I am a 55 yr old retired tech of 25 yrs. any simular complaints like this? Lenny
