I recently bought a 1990 Dodge Dakota with 156355 miles.

I recently had all the belts, the transmission cooling line, Fan and fan motor, shroud and water pump replaced. As well as a tune up and oil change.

They found a small pressure leak in the radiator so I was going to take it back in and get the radiator replaced. I took it out to get gas. And the temp went high, not spiked but high. At the gas station I noticed that there was antifreeze on the engine block directly behind the water pump.

I topped off the radiator and reservoir.

I was wondering if you all had any idea if this may be a faulty water pump or something else?

Appreciate the assistance.
