i have to turn the engine about 30 sec before i start only when its cold no problem when hot i put new plug,wires,distributor cap tank you for you help

Hi:
You may be getting fuel, but the pressure may be to low. You need to start with checking fuel pump pressure. Here is a how to video:

As far as the gauge, many parts stores will rent them or you can purchase one at the test equipment store site on this page.
