i ran out of gas and cannot get my dodge colt to start. we have put in a lot of gas, and it turns over but won't keep going. Help!

Hi:
I would start by replacing the fuel filter. It may have picked up dirt from the bottom of the tank. also, check fuel pump pressure. Here is a how to vide.
