what can i do to clean oil journal up to rear rocker arms. no oil is getting there

Hi:
The only thing you can do is tear the engine down and soak them. I do remember my father-in-law draining the oil, putting an equal amout of kerosine in the engine, running it for about 20 seconds, draining it, refilling with oil and a new filter, running it for a few miles and changing the oil and filter again. He said that cleaned everything, but that is up to you.
