Hi,
I have a 99 Dodge Caravan with 150,000 km.
Last night during a long drive I could hear a whining noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. I had a listen and could hear the noise coming from the fuel tank area. I suspected the fuel pump is on it's way out so I called around for prices. WOW, can't beleive how much the fuel pump cost for this car.
Now, I don't want to get stranded but I also don't want to dish out $350 and the feul pump noise not be a problem.
Any Ideas? The noise is low pitched. Almost like a truck brakeing noise just a lot quieter.
