I have a 92 Dodge caravan with a 3 liter v6 and 152,734 miles on it. My problems are many and varied but they only recently became serious. i purchased the vehicle used so i have no idea of its repair history. Initially the only problems i had were the speedometer and gas gage occasionally not working. Later the brakes failed completely with the fluid leaking out. the brakes were repaired at a local shop. The next to most recent problem to crop up is that occasionally when starting the vehicle and putting it into drive or reverse it will die and the only way to avoid this is to accelerate immediately which can be hazardous at best. Fortunately this is only an occasional problem. The latest issue is a very big problem. when i press on the gas while driving when it would normally accelerate and shift gears and so forth, it continues to accelerate at the same VERY slow pace. easing into it doesn't work nor does slamming on the gas. and even after accelerating it occasionally just slows down even while im holding my foot level.
