2005 Dodge Caravan Front Wheel Drive Automatic 69000 miles

My check engine light has been going on and off for a couple of weeks. I had a friend check the OBD and he got the reading PO404 EGR FLOW CKT Range/Perf. What is this and what should be repaired? I have an extended warranty (5 yr/100,000) should the repairs for this be covered under the warranty?

yes. the problem is the egr valve and is quite possibly still even under the emissions warranty. have it looked at.

I have the same problem on my 05 Caravan except at 79000. However, the Dodge dealership in town said that the warranty for the EGR ended at 60K. How did you fare with your dealer? Was it just the EGR Valve or something else?

it was the EGR valve and it was not covered under the warranty.....apparantly not much is covered under the 5 yr/100,000 mile warranty.....it cost a pretty penny to have it replaced....
