2005 Dodge Caravan gas leak

I hae a 2005 dodge caravn it has a gas leak i cna see that it is coming from the gas pump at the point where the gas fuel line connects to the fuel pump(blue clip) elbow at the top of the tank. I replaed the fuel hose at the feul pump elbow but it is still leaking at the same point (Blue Clip)what is wrong could it be the fuel point at the point of attachment is the fuel pump broken? how do i fix it. I can't see any close up pics of this, but i would be thinking that there should be a seal onside the fitting, check that this is ok, if the coupling locks in tight the system should not leak if the seal is ok and the elbow is not cracked or damaged in any way, if the elbow is damaged you will not be able to repair it as if the clip is damages this pipe will have to be replaced as a unit.
