In order to crank the engine I have to turn the ignition on and off about ten times before I can start the engine. The preassure in the fuel line goes to zero once I turn the engine off. The mechanic changed the gas filter and noticed the fuel line was empty. Once the engine starts it runs like a charm. What causes the fuel in the line run back to the tanke once the engine is shutt off? Could it be the Fuel Pressure regulator or the gas pump? I don't want to buy a new Fuel Pump and find out that the problem is elsewhere. Is there a way to test to pinpoint the problem? Thanks.
