2001 Grand Caravan side mirror

I found a cheap replacement mirror for my 01 Dodge Gr. Caravan (the wife backed out ot the garage a little too quickly one day). Can anyone give me some tips for installing the new one?

1. At the base of your mirror there should be a screw holding your molding, remove it and the molding.

2. You should then see the two screws that are holding in your mirror. Its the ones that you need the star shaped key, at the bottom. Remove them, and detach mirror. If they are power mirrors unplug the electrical connector.

3. To install : just reverse the process.

I also have the same problem on a '05 Caravan (pass. Side). I got the mirror off no prob. the electrical connector is a different story. I traced it through the body and it leads somewhere deep into the dash! I removed the glovebox thinking I could access it through there, no such luck! I can't even see the connector, and hopefully don't have to remove the dash to get to it....HELP! I can't find any info on how/where the connector access is on this van.
