2001 Dodge Caravan automatic door locks

every time I lock or unclock the door , I can hear this really annoying grinding sound, the door would still lock or unlock, but it's really a pain in the neck ... could this be the door regulator? How to replace it? Thanks

It is your door lock switch power module going bad. You have to replace the entire module, I think it is around $80 per door. You have to remove the door panel to get to the module.
