2000 Dodge Caravan stalls when put in gear

2000 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

2000 Dodge Caravan starts and runs fine put it in gear and it dies, had a trouble for an EGR valve put on a new EGR valve cleared the code and still same problem any ideas

check the torque convertor clutch solenoid.

you can go ahead and clean the egr valve as this is a possibility, but I also need to know what size engine is your vehicle? 3.0,3.3,or 3.8. also the vehicle need to be scanned, it will make it sooo much easier.

well its coming up as transmission control solenoid and all it says is its located on the transmission, its a plug obviously, and there are three or four. it says this vehicle doesnt have a torque convertor clutch solenoid, they are control solenoids. it would really help if we could get this thing scanned again
