2000 Dodge Caravan Accelerating without pressing pedal

Engine Performance problem
2000 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The van it is accelerating without pressing the pedal. It can go easily over 50 MPH. It just started doing it. I was told that are the cables that are loose.
If so, where can I find a assembly diagram so I can fix it.
Could be somehting different?

Hi:
I'm not sure what cables are being discussed. To me it sounds like a throttle positioning sensor. Have it checked by a mechanic to be sure.
