1999 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport
Approx. 105,000 miles
Automatic transmission
2 wheel drive

"Strange" sound would be that it is just giving a single click when I go to start it. I added distilled water to the battery and charged the battery. Still, when I went to start it, it just gave me a single click and did not turn over. The lights, radio, power windows, etc. are all working - just not starting. I'm wondering if the problem is the starter selenoid or the starter - or something else.

Fluid leaks - there are no fluid leaks that we've noticed. There is also no repair history that I'm aware of. We bought it with a little over 90,000 miles on it. My wife generally uses it to drive the kids around for errands, etc.

Thanks for the help on this!

check the connections on the starter and also try tapping on it with a hammer while someone else tries to start it. more than likely its the starter.
