1999 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Hey guys. I want to replace the gasket between the oil pump and the engine block. The Haynes book says that I need to remove the oil pan and pick-up tube. Is this absolutely necessary if I am just replacing the gasket? The engine is being supported with a floor jack under the oil pan because I had to remove the passenger side engine mount. Thanks.
