I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan with low mileage. Recently, the van would not move forward when putting it in drive until it warmed up. I dropped the pan and put in a new tranny filter, added 4 guarts of new tranny fluid, and a quart of lucas tranny conditioner. Bingo - the tranny now works like a charm. However- shortly after doing this, I started getting a howling sound which sounded like it was near the right front tire - it sounded like a wheel bearing, so I replaced it. I am still getting the sound but it now sounds like its coming from the left side. The sound is the loudest when decelerating or when traveling around 50-55 miles an hour. Any ideas - the tranny seems to shift well with no hesitation.

Does the noise change when you turn?
