Can I use any transmission fluid in my transmission?

can i use any transmission fluid in my transmission. it says use 7176 on the dipstick, but i have a quart of mercon v approved for h specification. can i use that?

Please, only use Mopar (Chrysler certified ATF) or ATF+4 (aftermarket equivalent) on any Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Plymouth vehicles, nothing else. Unless, you are willing to spend some time and money replacing the transmission. this guide will show you how to add.
