i have a trouble code P0403 is this more than likely the egr valve solenoid and if so can I purchase just that or will it come with a new egr valve its self

Hello,

The EGR and EGR solenoid are separate parts.
Anytime you have a EGR related trouble code, it is a good idea to service the EGR valve. As a dirty valve can trigger codes.
If it has not been done in a while it is a good idea to clean the valve and the tube of the EGR system.
