I changed my filter and about 6 qts of oil in my transmission on my 98 dodge caravan, BUT in the bottom of the pan was some shavings and a bunch of little needle rollers, the transmission works fine, i can expect future problems, where are the rollers from??
any easy fix before total rebuild??
I changed the oil because the oil change people said i needed it flushed and recommendations were not to flush it on a high mileage vehicle.
thanks Don

The must be from one of the bearings. If the trans is still shifting and working good and not making any noise, I would drive it.

Are you sure they are roller bearings? Were they attached to the magnet in the pan?

The must be from a roller bearing, but it would be making noise if there was a bad one.
