1998 Dodge Caravan A loose connection noise maby?

here is my question, every time i go over a bump; dosen't matter how small or large, i hear a noise similar to a possible bad strut, but the struts on it currently are after market and are in good shape. the noise is worse in cold weather; 40 & under. when i got my wheels aligned, me and my friend took the time to inspect the problem area. but everything checked out. i have no idea what could cause this noise.
