Transmission problem

hi i have a 1996 dodge caravan sport. 3.3 litre engine front wheel drive. it worked great for some time but recently it slipped ot of gear and nothing. after lettin it warm up and a few revs on the gas it went into gear and worked fine. but then i was driving and it slipped in and out of gear and when it went into gear drive, it was stuck into one gear it seems. it would up shift or down shift. i stpped on the gas and it went but the rpm went through the roof . when i lowered the gas it would go down but still no shifting into higher or down shift, just one gear. i left it over night added some oil next day. w took it out and seemed like all was ok shifted at 20 kilometres and the at 60 fine, but then it did the same thing , slipped outta gear into and stuck on one. any ideas and where can i findthe schematic or diagram for the transmission.
