is it possible to change a timing chain without removing the engine from the vehicle? I have a Grand Caravan (1995)

no problem. won't have to remove engine but will have to loosen the engine mounts and support engine with a suitable support (i.e. large floor jack). would you like complete removal and installation steps for the timing belt?

i apologize, just realized this is a Grand caravan not a regular Caravan. it DOES have a timing chain. . Sorry to ask for more info. but to get steps correct I will need the 8th digit of the VIN, should be a "J", "R" or an "L".

My dad just left, so I will try to find out as soon as I can and let you know. It may be a little bit, I'm sorry. Again, thank you.
