1994 Dodge Caravan Power to fuel pump

I had to slam on the brakes in traffic, the engine stalled and never restarted.
There is no fuel pressure at the fuel rail.
The pump is not running.
Fuses and relays check out ok, but there is no power at the pump connection.
Is there a rollover safety switch that may have tripped and cut all power to the pump?
If so, is it resettable and where is it?
The pump has been pulled and runs when power is applied directly to it.

Hello, I'd check for codes? Also, with the engine cranking, do you have primary voltage at the coil and injectors?

Did you do any testing at the fuel pump relay? My info shows it to be underhood-- driverside-- fender well, there may be several relays, the fuel pump relay third or fourth from the front. Look at the wiring colors at the connector. dark green with yellow stripe-- dark blue with white stripe-- dark green with white stripe--, dark green with black stripe. With the relay unplugged, two of those terminals should be hot with he key on.

You can't test a pump without putting a load on it. I've tried testing a pump, the same way you did. There is really not much load on it, like that. That pump ran up a storm with no load on it, threw gas all over me. I was surprised how much gas that little pump would hold. I took the pump apart, those little brushes inside were wore down to nothing. I wouldn't replace the pump unless I was sure about the voltage and ground circuits. Since you already have it out, I guess that is up to you?
